In
1948, our company was founded by Leo "Bud" Harsh, a WW II
veteran who lost the use of both legs in an explosion while saving the
lives of 3 men trapped on a sinking destroyer. Propelled by his electric
"go-cart" and fueled by an indomitable spirit, Harsh began his
hydraulics business with a pledge to build the most competitive
world-class products.
Nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in
one of the largest agricultural counties in
the U.S., Harsh International continues a 45-year tradition of
commitment to quality. Today, as a result of our concern for the
environment, Harsh is proud to introduce the "Enviro-Pro" line
of equipment, which incorporates machine tool coolant recycling and
large and small scale composting for industrial and municipal waste
handling.
