Snow and Ice have finally met their match with the Henderson Pre-Wetting Systems.  Henderson's Pre-Wetting Systems are designed to enhance the cost effectiveness of snow and ice removal operations while increasing traffic safety.  The application of liquid pre-wetting agents onto salt and or sand has numerous benefits of which include:
  • Brine is formed quicker to rapidly undercut ice and packed snow.
  • Ice melts at lower temperatures even at temperatures below zero degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Salt spread rates along with the number of applications are reduced.
  • Granular material is uniformly coated as it is spread.
  • Helps granular material adhere to the pavement with less tendency to bounce or scatter.
  • Helps proven corrosion of spreader body and allows application rate adjustments as conditions warrant.

Pre-Wet System I - Increase the effectiveness of your ice control program while reducing overall costs with the Henderson PWS-I.  This on board liquid pre-wetting system coats the material with various pre-wetting agents as it is being spread.  The PWS-I makes snow and Ice removal along with precise measuring and distribution easy.  Simply dial in the applications rate and the PWS-I does the rest... even tells you when it's empty.   PWS-I models are available for both V-box and tailgate mounted spreaders.

Pre-Wet System II - Henderson's PWS-I is engineered to improve spread effectiveness and ease of use as is the Henderson's PWS-I.  The PWS-II has all the features and benefits that the PWS-I does and more.  The PWS-II is designed for use on either a V-box or tailgate spreader.  It has a sophisticated cab-mounted control console that monitors the amount of granular material being applied and adjust the liquid flow rate to maintain a constant gallons/ton ratio.  This cab mounted control has a variety of other features and benefits to make pre-wetting and snow & ice removal virtually effortless.
